Our club is built around friendly local people who just enjoy running and walking at all ability levels. | Saturday 21 August Wellington Road Champs (Interclub Event) The new course suited many of our runners with some fantastic results and PBs. Saturday 28 August *^Mangaroa Handicap Road Races (Club Runners & Walkers Ladder Event) This is a great club handicapped event starting on Lane Street, Upper Hutt. The course goes along Lane Street heading north-east, onto Goodshed Road, then onto Fergusson Drive and up Mangaroa hill road, past Mangaroa school to Wallaceville church. The race finishes with a sprint down Wallaceville hills to end up back on Lane Street. This is a ladder event for both runners and walkers. Meet on Lane street at 1:30pm. Tuesday 31 August Lifestyle Sports Waterfront 5k Fun Run & Walk Series Meet at Chicago Sports Cafe at Queens Wharf from 5:30pm every Tuesday evening till April 2011. Click here for more details... Mizuno Off-Road Taupo Half Marathon New Zealand's newest off-road challenge. This is a scenic out-and-back loop course on the new 'W2K' track which winds it's way from Kinlock to Wakaipo Bay and will include the recently opened 'Headlands track' loop. This is a ladder event for both runners and walkers. Sunday 12 September Sunday Long Run A long Sunday run around the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary. Meet at the car park at 09:00am. We go out afterwards for coffee or lunch. Tuesday 14 September Lifestyle Sports Waterfront 5k Fun Run & Walk Series Meet at Chicago Sports Cafe at Queens Wharf from 5:30pm every Tuesday evening till April 2011. Click here for more details...
