JUNIOR RUNNING DIVISION 2011

Our junior division caters for competitive young runners who are willing to improve their fitness and ability. We compete at all interclub races and set a high standard in club representation. Our club prides itself in a high level of comradeship between our junior runners and many great friendships have been made.

Our junior division is managed and coached by Darryl Robinson, with the assistance of David Hood, Kurt Jacques and Maria Allen. Darryl has many years of experience and provides advice on levels of fitness, race planning and preparation, nutrition and goal setting.

Coaching is provided to the majority of junior runners all year round with the returned expectation of a commitment to the club and to the junior division. Many of our junior runners are also competitive in athletics and rely on Darryl’s expertise on the track to coach them through the athletic season for school, regional and national competitions.

This group is a wonderful, dynamic, fun and competitive bunch of young runners who push their limits beyond their own expectations, gaining greater fitness, strength, speed and endurance.

Could this be you?
