The Novice & President Handicapped Race Plus Steve Plowman Trophy for U11's was held outside the TUHW clubrooms. This cross-country race was either 1x3.1km or 2x3.1km (total 6.3km) laps around Trentham Memorial Park.

The trophies available for this race are as follows:
Steve Plowman trophy - 1st U11 junior on handicapped time.
Trentham United U17 trophy - 1st U17 junior on handicapped time.
Novice Cup - 1st male runner on handicapped time that hasn't ever won a club trophy before.
Presidents Cup - 1st male runner to win on handicapped time that has won a club trophy before.
Trentham Trophy - 1st woman runner to win on handicapped time that hasn't won a club trophy before.
Buddle Trophy - 1st woman runner to win on handicapped time that has won a club trophy before.
